Key2 is run by Key2 Futures Ltd – a specialist, independent housing and support company. We offer passion, patience and persistence to help young people build stable, successful lives. We help our clients to unlock their potential and open doors to secure their futures.

In our business, credibility and reputation is everything. We can’t win the trust of a traumatized young person, or expect to get contracts and placements from local authorities if we don’t live up to the high standards we set ourselves.

We do something very important. We get involved in people’s lives. Our clients. Our staff. Our partners. We help young people to gain the education, training, work, self-belief and skills they need to achieve their potential and live successful, fulfilled lives.

Young people who have had disrupted childhoods often have complex and special needs. Faced with living independently for the first time, they can experience a range of difficulties. Mental health and emotional problems make it hard for some to cope. For others, offending patterns or a lack of life skills and attachment can lead to crises.

That’s exactly why we are here Key2 works with the local authorities who are responsible for young people up to the age of 18, to offer the right mix of security, advice and practical help to meet each young person’s needs.

This isn’t easy and very often there is no, neat, black-and-white answer to a young person’s difficulties. We understand and accept this – we’re experts at working in demanding situations, where success comes from dealing with uncertainty and recognising the different shades of grey and being comfortable working in these grey areas.

We know we cannot wave a magic wand and make all difficulties disappear overnight. But we know that we provide uncommonly good homes and support. We also know that a successful housing and support service rests on getting lots of little things right - again and again, for everyone. This is what we do.
